PUBLIC NOTICE
The New Orleans City Council is seeking a qualified individual with legal and public administrative experience to manage and administer the operations and affairs of the Council in the capacity of Interim Council Chief of Staff (COS). The City Council taking office on May 3, 2010 will determine for itself how it wants to proceed relative to the Chief of Staff's position beyond May 3, 2010. As an interim appointment, the individual chosen will be expected to assume his/her duties immediately upon being selected. Included among the duties and responsibilities of the COS is the coordination of services performed by all Council central staff divisions: Research, Fiscal, Utilities, and Clerk of Council.
