Note: Multiple year contracts must be amended to extend them for each calendar year. Where anticipated expenditures for that year would exceed the prior year contract maximum, the amendment will also authorize an increase in the (multi-year) contract maximum. Thus, in general, the current year increase in the contract maximum, embodied in the contract amendment extending the contract for 2008, presents the clearest picture of expenditures anticipated for this year relative to each multi-year contract presented above. However, contract recipients are paid only for actual work performed and the contract amounts listed are generally a "not to exceed" amount, not a guaranteed amount. For your convenience, the total amount, as well as the current year increase in authorized maximum amount, are summarized above for the Council's multi-year contracts.
