Cynthia Hedge-Morrell: Councilmember District D

Cynthia Hedge-Morrell was elected District "D" Councilmember in a special election in April 2005 and re-elected District "D" Councilmember in April 2006 and February 2010.

Hedge-Morrell's career includes serving as Principal at McDonogh #15 Creative Arts School and developing the New Orleans Center for the Creative Arts (NOCCA) Academy. She was appointed as Special Assistant to the Superintendent for Governmental Affairs and worked on numerous committees and boards, including the Louisiana State Racing Commission and as Trustee for the Center for Development Learning and Holy Cross School.
