Cynthia Willard-Lewis: Councilmember District E (2006-2010)

Cynthia Willard-Lewis formerly served as District "E" Councilmember from 2002 to 2010. Willard-Lewis is a former Louisiana State Representative and previously worked as an Administrative Assistant and then Bureau Chief in the Housing Division of the City of New Orleans. She has been honored with many awards, including the Friend of the Parish Award in 1997 and the Spirit of Greatness Award in 1996.

Councilmember Willard-Lewis served as Chair of the Ground Transportation and Parking, Sanitation and Environmental Enforcement, and Special Remote and Evening Meeting Feasibility Study Committees, as Co-Chair of the Housing and Human Needs and Special Disaster and Recovery Committees, and as a Member of the Board of Murals Review, Cable and Telecommunications, Competitive Selection, Education, Special Development Projects and Economic Development and Special Official Journal and New Orleans Register Ordinances Committees.
