Biography

Arnie Fielkow was elected Councilmember-at-Large on May 20, 2006 and currently serves as the City Council President. Fielkow spent the majority of his career in sports management and law, and recently served as Executive Vice President of the NFL's New Orleans Saints for six years. His work in New Orleans includes the enactment of legislation to create the Office of Inspector General, co-founding the Fleur-de-lis Ambassador Program, and facilitating the Playground Partnership program.

Councilmember-at-Large Fielkow serves as Chair of the Board of Murals Review; Election Code and Reapportionment; Special Development Projects and Economic Development; and Youth and Recreation Committees, and as a Member of the Airport; Budget, Audit, and Board of Review; Governmental Affairs; Special Committee on Mental Health; and Special Remote and Evening Meeting Feasibility Study Committees.
