NEW ORLEANS - Royal Brewery New Orleans, the first craft brewery and beverage manufacturing facility to be located in District "D", announced its soft opening for Friday, May 26, 2017.
The 10,000 square foot operation and tap room is part of a torrent of economic development in the industrial Lakefront Airport and Harbor area. Co-founders Raymond and Mandy Pumilia chose New Orleans East in 2015 to capitalize on the existing industrialization, as well as the economic revitalization of the district.
"I'm honored to be a part of this opening celebration to support a critical investment along this industrial corridor," said District "D" Councilmember Jared Brossett. "This facility will assist in spurring economic development in the area."
